    James W. Kyle, blacksmith at 316 A St. in 1875-76, is my great great grandfather. He was born in the Roanoke VA area about 1832. He came to D.C. in 1865. He died in 1895 and is in Congressional cemetery. His wife was Sarah Furrow. Two of their sons were blacksmiths at the Navy Yard.
